An update of sorts.

Ya know... for those of you who care.

So I'm being bombarded by real life these days, with college being the main culprit. Four research papers and three presentations due within the next few weeks. Woo~! It'd help if one of my professors wasn't total garbage at his job. And I don't usually judge my teachers on their capabilities that much, so you know this guy has to suck. I'll give you an idea of what I'm talking about. The first day of class he literally split us up into groups, gave us each a topic and said "research this". Which could work out perfectly fine, but then he was far too vague about how we should go about presenting what we learned. And then the other day he told us we were having a test that had absolutely nothing to do with anything we'd researched. Two page paper included. Complete and utter malarkey if I've ever seen it. I hope I can convince my father to let me drop it...

Rant over. Update time, go!

Chapter 5 of "Howling Winds" is about halfway done. I was having trouble with it for a while, but recently I found a way to proceed. Hopefully I'll have that done within the next week or two. After that comes Chapter 2 of "Mares of Tomorrow". And then I'll keep switching off on stories from there. Seems like the easiest way to proceed. Don't expect updates to come regularly for a bit; I really wish I could give you guys that, but fate has other plans. Along with the aforementioned heap of schoolwork, my girlfriend is coming back from the Coast Guard for a while-ish. We're going to Youmacon this Saturday (probably), where I will be Sam Winchester (bonus points if you know who that is). I don't consider it a cosplay, really. If I did, I'd probably have a mob on my tail. But, according to my sister/friends, all I have to do is throw on a plaid shirt and *bam*, instant Winchester-ism. I guess it helps that I kinda look like him, with a big emphasis on kinda. I don't see it, but others do... Let me know if any of you are going, I guess.

In other news, this song is awesome. Also, I need to give a huge shout out to a user named Frission. I haven't spoken with him/her very much but they are a very cool dude/chick. They faved "Mares of Tomorrow" recently and, being the lurker I am, I decided to check out their user page. And boy was I surprised when I saw my story gracing his/her "Even More Great Stories" tab. This is the first time this has happened to me, and I don't feel like it's deserved. Seriously, Frission, I know I've thanked you like three times already, but I'm really humbled by this. Thanks a ton.

Still waiting on word back from EqD on "Mares of Tomorrow". I should be hearing from them soon. Super excited about that. And that's about it news-wise, so without further ado:
