    Story Scraps 4

Alright folks, we're in uncharted territory now. This story idea didn't even have a name when I stopped really adding to it. It's not even a fully coherent plot, the middle part, of course, being the sticking point for me. Initially I wasn't sure if it was too big for one story and needed to be split into two or not.

    Story Scraps Part 3

To continue on with AJUO: Apocalyptica, I do have to admit this is where the idea as a whole started to get "fuzzy" if you will. I'd mentally charted out most everything up until this point in time, but when it comes to the middle of my stories everything goes up in the air in terms of what I definitively want. I start strong and end strong with ideas; I know where I am, and where I want to end

    Story Scraps Part 2

Hey all! Sorry to be late, but I ended up having technical issues. My computer crashed on me multiple times, and I needed to find out if it's a hardware issue or not. Continuing on from Sunday's exploration into the dunes of Saddle Arabia, let's focus back on Equestria, and take a look at what would have been AJUO 3.

    P.S. I'm not dead yet

"Hustlin Tom," the wizened old man exclaimed as he looked at the young lad looking up to him, a glint in his eyes as the mysterious music in the background swelled. "Hustlin Tom," he murmured again, shaking his head up and down in recognition, "Now that's a name I've not heard in a looong time." He shook his head a little more, "A long time." "You know him," the youth asked, his face

Gaining some perspective · 2:18am Oct 26th, 2013

It's hard for me to believe that I've been a brony now for two years, and that I'll have been an author for almost the same amount of time. In just a couple days I'll be turning 21. Looking at my life, these two years have been the most meaningful years that I've had in all my life so far. I've struggled, stumbled, and learned so much, both as a person and as a writer. These stories that we've shared, they're filled with some of the lessons I've learned: humanity is flawed, but we have some redeemable qualities and we can change. Don't have the impetus to play God, whether in the large or small things in your life. Don't let the tragedies and the bad things in your life define you, are they will destroy you and everything around you. Sometimes we have to do things of great sacrifice to avoid even more horrible possibilities from occurring. People need ethics and morals to keep them from doing evil and destructive things, no matter the good intentions for those actions.

I have so many ideas that I want to get to, but I also have to wonder if I could be satisfied and stop writing? Just offer my help to others as an editor or an idea creator. I have to admit, I am getting a strange sense of creative weariness, even if the work and the result of it is something I love and am proud of. I'm looking at an entire universe worth of possibility and I want to share it with all of you!

I don't know about you, what you believe in regards to God, but I wonder if this is what He felt like when he made everything, and how he feels all the time. What good's a story, a painting, a home, or even a life, if you don't share it with someone? Someone who brings their own perspective and colors to the painting, who you can share that experience with in some small way. Can you see it? The architecture, the prose, the beautiousness of it? The first story, a creation story, made other little stories grow like branches on a tree, until we reached here, and I get to see my own visions of a creation brought to life. To be one among countless others contributing to the greatest story, our universe's story, is both an honor and a humbling experience. I think I might write about Him someday. God I mean.

This was just my own little waxing philosophy. How do you look at life? What do you think of stories?

I`ve been a brony for almost a year now. I can`t remember the date when it happened, but I remember it was at the very beginning of winter.
I`m not very philosophical, so in all honesty I haven`t really looked at life very much, I just sort of go with it, if that makes sense.
About the stories, I agree something only gets a high value when you share it with someone who likes it.
Don`t really know what else to say.
