Future Fics · 4:01pm Sep 24th, 2013
TL:DR
After I finish the Morde fic, will want to write something else, most likely will be another crossover story.
Want to get more fics in to draw more people.
Crossovers are long and the potential of them is maximized when more people read it initially, One-shots are good for getting a feature but otherwise they end up as a dud unless it's reaaaaally good.
Need help for suggestions on what to do next. I have many fics in storage.
Thanks all.
Alright, so I seriously have been delayed on anything related to writing and mlp since my school year began. I mean seriously, there's waaaaay too much science courses flying around (6 maybe 7).
So periodically I like to just take a breather and see what's on the table, and the main course for today is FICS!
So on my current agenda, i have to desperately finish that Mordekaiser League fic and prepare it for an EqD submission that will likely get revoked :trollesita:
After that, it leaves me with a wide array of fics that I ahve begun to write but have not published as of yet since I forseen this hiatus. And I apologize to anyone who would like me to update constantly since I know a fic's appeal goes down dramatically from a lack of updates. So much so, that some people might be inclined to get angry and hate on the author. (Thankfully I didn't have much of that personally, but I know a few good friends and writers this had happened to. And it sucks a lot.)
RIGHT SO, I mostly have fics lined up that will involve gaming crossovers, If ANYONE wants to throw in a guess or an idea my way for what I should write next, then please feel free.
I already have a few chapters on a Last of us Crossover, an Okami, and some generic others.
NOW, I have a really great set of ideas for a GTA 5 crossover, God of War Crossover, and actually a whole damn list.
So i can do one of those, OR I can try to get back into my Shadow Mark fic for any fans out there still and I'll do my best. (I kinda left off on a segment that would've had the most epic scenes to date on that fic)
The trouble is however, and this is mainly why I'm writing a blog, is that most of those fics require me to invest heavily into writing them. By that I mean it's the differance between making a 1-shot and a 50+ chapter fic.
I cannot make a 1-shot now since they pretty much work like this: If it's Feautred, you win. If it's not, you might get at most 200 views if you're not well known. My plan is to get more people to read those longer-ass'd fics of mine.
I personally don't care for views, but I still find it great to see a large pool of people who enjoy the work I do. Since fic writing isn't about me, but rather for entertaining the readers.
It is for this reason I am torn as to what I should do after I finish my Mordekaiser fic. If I do a major crossover, then I have to 100% give my FULL ATTENTION for it. I'm thinking I can perhaps continue what I'm doing right now and make more 'short-styled' fics.
But really I don't know, and I'm hoping for the people that are reading this (thank you actually, the blogging system is easier but definately harder to get people together) would help me in offering a suggestion.
IT GETS LONELY HERE!
