Work amongst other things

EDIT 3 (January 7, 2015): [UPDATE] Well, I hope you all had a wonderful and enjoyable new years. I would have done some input in the form of a new post, or even to celebrate with another one of those Trixie fics but with her learning about New Years. Sadly, university took a rather bumpy curve this year, and I had failed 3 courses as a result. There was just too much, and while I did handle the paperwork like a gentleman, I ended up botching the final exams due to mental exhaustion.
So for the break that I was on, I was focused on trying to relax to the best of my abilities, and while I couldn't have written because writing is a mental activity and well... my head was tired so to speak, I knew anything I try would be way too half-assed and ludicrous rather than classy. I wouldn't have cared about editing and that's a big no-no. So while I may have written pitiful amounts in drafts, I have still been doing the non-stop usual idea gathering and formatting.

But I miss writing and I miss you all

Oh, why hello there! I haven't said hello in... how long has it been -- no nonono don't tell me -- the season 1 finale? Season 2? 3? Meh, I'll leave it a wild card for now. Sooooooooooooo... how have you all been? My lack of writing is showing excellent signs of not wearing down. AHA! BUT!
I am writing, it just so happens that none of my newer stories are ready as of yet to go public yet. Editing is one thing, but to get back that will and drive to continue onwards with a story that you know for certain is going to be long is... taxing. Most of the 'better' stories of my to-do list happen to be prolonged extrapolations, that is to say, they're bat-shit long.

And then which comes back to something that's been haunting me for ages, and what I believe is the main factor in my lack of writing and why I have such a writer's block for it.

Anxiety.

It's not a great feeling. It's great for me when I have actually done something to get anxious for, it's terrible otherwise to have it yet nothing to show for as a reason to be so anxious. I absolutely hate it and it caused me to second-guess everything I'm currently doing and everything I had already done. I'm still baffled how I was able to get away with so many things in my assassin's creed crossover, and even after editing it, it's still pretty unsalvageable the mess I created so long ago. There's many choices to chose from when going through a story's plot. Why write up a whole bunch of filler when that same filler can be used to either address an issue in a previous chapter or to prepare the readers for an event in a future segment? When is the best time to show emotion? When is the best time to describe the setting? How much description is necessary to set the mood?

All of these things and more constantly are buzzing around in my mind, even now. I know I can do something if I set myself and task myself accordingly, but truth be told I've grown lazy over the couple months, and my writing has taken a turn for the dull and rusty. I actually have some midterms to go do today, and I KNOW FOR A FACT, that the fall season is going to be a season full of pain, studying, and manly tears of exam stress.

I honestly don't feel at all rested during my time off, and the longer I put myself away from writing and reading the 1600+ overdue chapters I have to still read; it is still just leading me back to something called 'writer's withdrawal'. It's actually gotten to a point where it sorts hurts in a metaphorical view

That said, what's on the agenda? Let's see...

A Fallout Equestria Fic: (filled with as much revenge, tragedy and feelings I've ever worked into a plot arc.)
Bioshock Crossover: (Steam sale is great, hail Gabe.)
Scorpion stuff: (This stuff was back in FEBRUARY. So I should do something with what I have XD)
Derpy's Dark Souls: (Might take a while to do since I want to also add in one shots, but this goes into the same planning as I did for the FO:E)
Majora's Mask Oneshot
A Templar Pony story
Crystal Empire's Legacy
Some Sombra stuff
Updates (hopefully) on Mordekaiser Recalls, A Shadow's Creed might or might not happen for longer

Might've temporarily forgotten some one-shots including some Celestia stuff, but thankfully everything is on my handy dandy notepad, so that's alright.
And with that said, I am off to study for my English midterm! You can't believe the amount of people telling me I should switch my majors for that stuff, I'm only good at bsing! Honest!
