Hi, first attempt at a blog. Not sure how it works but I'll learn the traditional Trial & Error way. Anyway:
Ever noticed that the following ponies have the same colour theme:
1. Octavia (Earth Pony)
2. Silver Spoon (Earth Pony)
3. Marble Pie (Earth Pony)
4. Arpeggio (Earth Pony)
5. Dust Devil (Pegasus Pony)
6. Rumble (Pegasus Pony)
7. Silver Speed (Pegasus Pony)
Any opinions on why that would be for these two races only and no unicorns?
Is there a familial or hidden relationship between all these ponies?
Do they share a special link, like magical powers (each race has its own magic)?
Would they be enemies or overlords, waiting in secret to take over Equestria?
So many options and pondering still...
Curious to what everypony would think?

Flames- Well, that's some good points you got there.
You do forget Granite sands though.. She's my other unicorn OC. Oh, I have so many OC's, it's hard to keep up on them.
Awesome. If possible I would love to write a fic using these specific ponies. Or anyone who can. Here are some ideas:
1. Dark: They would be zombie ponies, re-transfigured to look normal and possess special skills (related cutie marks). Unfortunately ravage hunger will always remain. The plot would involve these ponies just trying to survive with their undead lives.
2. Tragedy: When Discord ran wild in Return of Harmony, he switched some ponies personalities. This group should have been "colourful" depressed ponies, but now they are "grey" happy ponies and live good lives. It upsets the balance in terms of time continuum,
3. Adventure: They were all once part of a once magical unicorn, that lost control over a spell and split him or herself into duplicates. Each was different, with their own personality and cutie mark. There is a reason why Duplication Magic is Taboo in magic circles.
4. War (If there was such a tag). I'm not sure how many people ever played Mass Effect 1-3. Anyhow these ponies have develop a group conscience when they come together. One fateful event lead to all of them realising this fact and start to wonder why they are in the world and so different from other ponies. After seeking for help, other ponies (starting to fear and hate) start to resent and attack them. They react harshly and it'll escalate until a war in order to justify their increased intelligence, power and race.
Ha Ha Ha. Not sure if this how one goes about getting ideas for stories or interest people into writing it but yeah.
