I found it quite interesting how different opinions were regarding the tags for Sharing the Night. In the end, I decided to err on the conservative side of things since, when you get right down to it, someone who searches for "comedy" or "everyone" might have a bad time with Sharing the Night.
The story has always been more about Twilight and Luna than making people laugh, so I don't feel too attached to the comedy tag... yet at the same time, I do feel there's a part of Sharing the Night that the tags just don't cover. I'm sure that's normal, though. They are, after all, single-word genres that are expected to describe stories of thousands upon thousands of words, and an author will probably always see their creation as something unique and undefinable—and that's fine.
Edit: Yes, I'm probably putting too much thought into it.
Also, wrote another 1,000 words, which puts us at 8,000. Definitely looking to be a long chapter, though.
Finally, just to be mean, since this is a bit of a short post, here are the tags using this feedback for some non-StN things I've been working on
Title: "The Dragon is in the Details"
Progress: 4,600/7,500 words (one shot)
Tags: [Twilight] [Rainbow Dash] [Mystery] [Tragedy] [Teen/Mature]
Title: "Truth, Lies and Intertia" (Working Title)
Progress: 3,000/6,000 words (one shot)
Tags: [Twilight] [Mane Six] [Comedy] [Everyone]
Title: "Schrödinger's Dawn"
Progress: 0/Lots of words (long shot)
Tags: [Twilight] [Nightmare Moon] [Mane Six] [Adventure] [Alternate Universe] [Everyone/Teen]
Edit: Whatever you're thinking the last one is, that's not it.
I just now noticed that all the titles are references... oh well.
Those are some pretty eye-catching titles. I wanna read 'em now.
It does confuse and amaze me that you can predict your story length down to a resolution of 500 words.

The numbers aren't THAT exact... I just say, "okay this one is about 60% done," which in this case comes close to 7.5k

See, when I think a chapter is 60% done, I unexpectedly go back and double the amount of dialogue in a scene …

That may very well happen
Though for me, it's generally the opposite. Quite often I'll write quick back-and-forth dialogue without any description, then go back in and spice it up.
on the right track with the tags i see; i still don't quite see how "slice of life" fits in though

It's a slice of the life of a celestial pony-shaped entity!
