Kudos to those who actually read my blog. As a reward, I am giving you a little update on how chapter 4 of "High Seas and Howling Winds" is coming along.
*Drum roll*
It's finished. And thank God for that. Originally it was going to be around 15K words, but at the pace I was going it would've taken ages. So now it clocks out to be around 4K words. My shortest chapter to date, not that there is a huge repertoire of chapters under my belt. The reason for the huge cut in words has to do with a matter of pacing and perspective shifts. I'm not going to give away anything, but just know that if I had continued as planned, those two areas would have suffered from severe awkwardness. I think you're going to like what's coming up in the next couple chapters. I sure as hell do.
Anyway, the chapter has been sent to my editor, who is about halfway done with his notes on it. With any luck, I'll have the chapter uploaded within the next two days. Hope you guys enjoy it!
