New Projects, but going slow, but might go faster.

So... I'm kinda in the shadows right now. However, I am trying to log on a bit more frequently and see what's going on.

I am currently working an a story. Multi chapter, and I'll start posting it once I have some decent progress on it.

    Positive Highlight (part 2)

I was able to wash some dishes today alone. A particular challenge for a post holiday mess.

This is a win for me. Having the energy, or at time, will to do dishes is hard.

One moment it will be wanting to do nothing.

And other times it's to literally do anything else.

    I win! Woohoo!

    Positive Highlights (part 1)

Focusing on positivity. Hoping that this will reboot my drive.
Today, I appreciate my Cat, Sapa. She's a pure black Siamese. She's such a sweetheart. Her cuddly nature mixed with her gentle soul helps me through hard times.

    Seemingly Endless Suffering

I'm not putting this out there as a call for help, but rather, a notice of awareness.

For a long time now, I've been suffering from a mental disease. I say it that way, because what I suffer from is much more than just a illness or a disorder.

Though I am New · 7:31pm Sep 12th, 2013

Though I am New, I have High Hopes. My Mane project (which is writing a book titled "The Mercury Tornado") is currently on hold due to some complex Life events, that book will be published in 5 years. that is my goal anyway. during that time ill be inactive for about 1 1/2 years and the rest will be working on stories on this site.

My history with My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic started when i was sick at home and had nothing to do but sit and watch TV. shows on Netflix with my little sisters, who are in fact of the ages of 6 and 8. siting down with them i was a first skeptical on how the show would be. Yet i always had a interest with animation and cartoons. In the end i just relaxed and watched the show with them. At this time, there was only season 1 on Netflix and season 2 had 3 more episodes to be aired before the contract could include the next season. So!.....I did what any other 18 year old big brother would do. I pick up the laptop connected it to the Television, found the Season 2 episodes online and from there watched season 2 with my Sisters.

Like the Fool i was i Tried to deny my love for the show and would force my self away from the idea that i should just put on an episode and enjoy. Oh boy the stress that caused! However, whenever my little sisters would put on a episode i would instantly run straight down the the Family room (location of the Tube) and sit right in between them just as exited for the entertainment that was about to come to pass as they were. (ya that sentence got away from me.... all well.) as time went on i had to leave my home for a period of 3 months were i compleatly went through MLP: FIM withdrawals . which as from experience is just as tough as Ballroom dancing withdrawals, or fore a more efficient Example Pinkie pie party withdrawals. Eventually i made it back home to prepare for a LDS Mission call to Spokane Washington. however in between time of departure and time to live at home was 2 months. I continued to watch the show with my little sisters as well as watch Season 1 - 6 of Doctor who. much time spent. then i left for my mission. through the strictness of the mission I had an opportunity to serve as a Assistant along with my companion to help with a Addiction recovery class. i ended up sitting by a guy who's name I did not catch. as the session went on i noticed he was wearing a black Rainbow dash _ Brony Bracelet. Before i new what I was doing, I approached him and offer my fist for a hoof bump and said "go Bronys" the man i was talking to looked at me in utter surprise! probably because I was a Missionary and Missionary's are only meant to talk about Gospel stuff. as the realization of the news flash sunk into him that missionary's still are people he then looked at me with a new found respect and bumped my fist and said in reply "Go Bronys!" I never saw that man again, but from that moment i could not hold in any longer as a "Spark hit through my head" I had just excepted myself to be a Brony! No that was not it, was was already a Brony it just took that long for it to register in my head!

I then got really sick a few weeks later and had to be sent home for recovery. being released from my calling and left in the dread of depression I decided to do the unthinkable. to wright my stories into a book, Ideas that i had since i was in 2nd grade. then my attention grew back to Netflix. I had not watched a tv. show in 6 months. My little sisters who were exited to see me then showed me that season 3 was now out on Netflix and from there i was set in a happy place.

I couple months later i started to read stories written by fans. and there ideas started to creep into my mind of possibility and opportunity.

My first story that i read was "Past Sins" by Penstroke and to this day my two most favored characters are Ditzy Doo and Nyx. lets just say that they are tied to first. I was always a fan of Ditzy Doo, she stood for allot to me, and i will voice my opinion to Ditzy hatters out there if they even try to argue with me, for it is not a debate, but that is another situation that i will avoid here. I then read a story called "Vengeance of Dawn" By Scipio Smith that is when i decided to hold writing my own book and tryout writing Stories based on MLP:FIM. My first Project is under way and still in progress of plot. and more info will be disclosed later. Please expect at least one story from me. for it will be epic. Prepare for some organized chaos!

First of all let me welcome you to FimFiction. Second, let me thank you for favouriting Vengeance of Dawn and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I feel in better company than I deserve with Past Sins.

Third, while you know your own writing method best, I find that as long as you can handle writing two projects in tandem then writing fanfiction can also help you maintain the pace on original fiction. I alternate chapters of an original work (mine entitled 'Spirit of the Sword') and fanfic chapters, and even though I'm dividing my time I'm making better progress on Spirit than I have in ages, because the insta-feedback nature of fanfic and the fact that I know I have readers stops me from slacking off.

Anyway, I look forward to seeing what you come up with and check out the sequel to Vengeance of Dawn if you have time.

I have in fact read the First chapter of your Sequel, and look forward to reading more. and thanks for your support. I shall hopefully have the first chapter of "The Trojan Mare Project" out in a couple of days.
