I finally ragequit World of Warcraft today. The big new patch came out and within minutes I felt no ambition to deal with any of the junk that was added and cancelled my account. I told myself I would quit if I could get Ashes of A'lar and Onyxian Drake, but I didn't. There were only a few things left I wanted to try and get: the rest of the 'transmog' gear I was missing for various classes, the Invincible pegasus mount, and the rest of a T3 armor set I was trying to get on the black market.
The latter was just RNG cluster**** and was aggravating me (I bought one item and got Pinkie Pie'd into having to pay over double the starting price because of some yahoo bidding it up at the very end, only to see 2 more of that item get put up within the next week (and those people only paid the base price or a few thousand more), when there had been none over the past months). Blizzard has openly decreed that not all classes should be created equally, and if you can solo a raid, good on you, and if you can't, too bad. And Invincible, despite putting more hours than I want to know about on my death knight, I was never able to run it because all of my friends either quit in Cataclysm or just won't help me with anything.
So, yeah. And I'm upset because I found my notes for my stories and the plot I had envisioned for Mare with the Golden Horn is not quite what I ended up writing for it now and I don't know what to do. :(
