Crush
PB
Have you ever passed by someone
so beautiful that all you can do is just stare?
It seems like time stops and melts away,
so it looks like only you and them are living,
the rest of the world is reduced to dust.
Rust and Decay cover the ground,
and the two souls that move about are the only souls ever,
but you know they won’t notice you.
Even if you work up the nerve to start up a conversation,
you know it’s not going to end up too good, it rarely does.
The torment it brings when you lay in bed at night,
and you look up to the Moon, hoping that someone,
that certain someone is looking back at it.
It sound so original, but it is true.
You won’t sleep, and the snow will fall, two things
you cannot stop.
Like dropping a vase, you can’t fix it
once it is in a hundred pieces. It’s impossible.
I heard this song, a song I hadn’t heard in a long time.
It’s called ‘Crush’ by Dave Matthews.
Maybe you have heard of it?
It won’t matter if you did or not.
Dave Matthews is an amazing song writer.
Don’t deny it, just like how you can’t deny a crush.
Crush, something that breaks like a vase,
is something dangerous,
don’t have one, but we do.
Maybe you also have heard of this poem,
‘Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening” by none other than,
Robert Frost?
Does ‘Whose woods are these?’ ring any bells?
They sure did ring the horse’s bells, to ask if there
was some mistake.
My house is certainly in no village,
So I am not as blind as a farmer, but more obvious than
A busy citizen of Boston.
Crush will crush you
the song will melt you,
The emotion will shoot you down faster
than Clint Eastwood would in a Dirty Harry movie.
So do you feel lucky?
Don’t have a crush.
Try not to.
Spare yourself, it’s very easy.
For me?
It is much too late.
I am already
discriminated against for my likes,
I have my classmates to thank for that.
Having a crush is like having a dog.
Once it’s dead, you won’t miss it for long, you get a new one.
Crush me, crush you, crush everybody.
Spell it out, but the one problem with crushes,
that everybody has, and can’t stop,
Is that everybody has one, and can’t get rid of it.
PS: I do not like most of my classmates.
okay, I can't tell if you were depressed when you brought up the poem if it matters at all high school ends trust me it just something you got to put up with till you graduate. College gets better. I wish I could say I knew you better to try to bring up your mood. If it means anything I was in the same boat in school till I graduated in 2008.
Maybe a little laughter could help:

Peace Out, Jim.
Your classmates can go jump off a bridge for bullying you.
If I meet them I will hurl them off the nearest bridge, if that makes you feel any better

Thanks a lot, bros! Respect!
62836 The offer to throw them off a bridge still stands, if your intrested
62932 62836 I wouldn't mind helping throw them off
DAMN THE BULLIES!
hey bro, i know it doesn't mean much now, because it is happening now, but i agree it DOES get better. i was bullied incessantly throughout high school too (kids are mean...) but then i went to college. now, i couldn't be happier (other than with the work load). people grow up, you just have to hang in there in the meantime. you'll come out stronger for it. while you're waiting, keep listening to music to help you through! and you've got a community on here that cares
