I'm not dead; Final Summer Update! · 6:50pm Aug 25th, 2013
Hey guys, DarkShockBro here. Man, it's been a LONG time since I've been here, huh? Well, don't worry, I'm still alive, and have tons of news to share with you!
First off, I have some bad news. Diamond in the Rough is done. The truth is, I've been running on empty from Chapter 14 on, and since then, it hasn't really felt like a story at all. So, I decided to simply trim my story so that it only has 10 chapters. Trust me, this is for the best. I apologize for saying that Chapter 23 will come soon...but I believe that ending the story here is for the best. Also, there will be a sequel to it, so don't worry.
Second, this 'sequel' is actually going to be a collaboration between me and Shadoroq. Yes, we are still working on this via Skype. Our plan is to have me eventually post a first chapter detailing what happened in those 14 years via interactions with Diamond's childhood friends, and eventually get to the new plotlines. I won't spoil anything, but once we do start posting it (I have no idea when we'll begin, sadly), I think you'll enjoy it.
Third, I have a job now as a lifeguard. No, it's not fun, but at least I get work experience and monies...so yeah. I'm probably going to be busier once skool actually starts (tomorrow).
Fourth, I'm currently recovering from wisdom teeth surgery. It sucks. Yeah, there was a surgical complication seven days in; a liver clot was on one of my removed teeth, but it's gone now. I still don't feel great, but hopefully, no more complications will arise. Yeah, ten days, and I'm still not completely healed. This was quite an experience for me, but I did learn from it...and hopefully it won't cause me too much pain in the future.
So...that's about it. I had a good summer, but now is the time to return to skool for my junior year. Thanks to all of my followers, the people who favorited my story, and to all of my friends I made from this site. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart, and I give you all a sincere internet brohoof.

Hope you feel better soon in regards to the whole wisdom tooth surgery. I remember how fun that mess can be. Take care and good luck!
