    Not dead yet!

So. My living/housing situation is changing such that I’m going to be spending more time on the bus on my way to and from work.
What this means is that I’m going to have more time to fill with stuff like writing. I don’t know if this means I’ll resume one of my old projects, or start something new.

    A Return! (Triumph Optional)

So, as my interests do, my attention wandered away from FIMFiction and onto other things; and I don't just mean writing, I mean even visiting the site. I don't know exactly how long it's been, but I've missed at least one major site update, and by long enough that I didn't see any of the rage it caused. (All UI changes cause rage. All of them.)

Not as dead as I had thought...

Equestria Trek is less dead than I thought... It looks like The Search for Fluttershy, the sequel to First Contact, is back in the forefront of my mind, and I've found a title for the first chapter. Still need to do more writing to get it up to my 2k word minimum, and this chapter will likely be heavy on describing what characters and the U.S.S. Baltimore look like, but I'll try and make

    A Creative Outlet

A visitor came to me last night; not the Princess of Nod, but a devil, here to make a deal, just for me.

A deal I accepting, fortifying the material in exchange for the mental, before I walked into the darkness, ready anew to strive against the foe.

Fixing "Brad", Going Forward, part three · 1:43am Aug 17th, 2013

Part One Part Two

Still with me? Great! So what's been happening in the 30 moons between the events of Equestria Girls and Human!Flash deciding to go to Equestria? Well, let me explain...

Sunset Shimmer, Snips, and Snails managed to fix the entryway of the school, but only because Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Flash Sentry helped her out. (As a side note, the new entryway can only be described as a work of ART.) In the wake of the Fall Formal, the lines between the groups at Canterlot High fuzzed and faded, leaving a much more friendly community, one more interested in personal variations adding good to the whole.

In the process, Sunset Shimmer was able to mend her ways, becoming good friends with the other girls, and while she and Flash were never able to pick up their relationship where they had ended it, they were still good, close friends. The emotional baggage of their breakup was too much for the relationship to have any real spark to it, but they were comfortable with each other. Sunset never talked much about the pony world she came from, still haunted by how she had derided all of Princess Celestia's advice on the importance of friendship... Aaaand lingering embarrassment of how she needed to have her nose rubbed in the rainbow blast before it got through to her.

Flash Sentry never forgot the magical princess who managed, in only a few days, to transform his world into something so much better, something he thought could never be possible. While he was able to find his world's Twilight Sparkle, he found her to be a withdrawn scholar, with no time for friendship, only for her studies, much like another Twilight Sparkle would have been had she never been sent to Ponyville.

Time passes, and the seven found themselves approaching graduation, and facing the BIG QUESTION: what did each want to do with their lives? Sunset Shimmer and the girls were planning on heading to college, which for sake of plot convenience had them all going to the same college, which just happened to be the same school that Twilight Sparkle was headed to; convenient because the six had formed a hair-brained scheme to pay the good Twilight Sparkle had done forward and bring Twilight Sparkle out of her shell.

But Flash Sentry wasn't willing to wait, and didn't think it would be fair to expect this Twilight to replace the one he was still so enchanted with... Finally, he talked with Sunset Shimmer, long into the night, and she agreed to help. Sunset Shimmer would not go back to Equestria, but she was willing to calculate for him the exact time the portal would open again. She only asked that he deliver two letters for her, one to Twilight Sparkle, and one to Princess Celestia.
