Opening Blank Plague back up... · 3:29am Aug 10th, 2013
So I seem to have gone ahead and written the story of Luna's experience with the Blank Plague now, and the effects that has on various ponies. I've switched Blank Plague from 'completed' to 'incomplete,' but I might just make this an entirely separate story. I'm leaning toward including it, but I like where Blank Plague ended as it is. Any thoughts?
I've also got another story ready and waiting for me once Luna's side of the story is done, going a bit into Rainbow Dash making good on that vow to be a better herdmate to Lyra. That one is more lighthearted, and while I believe I struck a balance between 'explain what's going on' and 'remain genteel,' 'Head Shots' is going to get the 'mature' tag just in case, posted separately from Blank Plague, whether Luna's story is separate or not.
I wonder if Lero is going to mention the human's version of the Black Plague.
A few weeks discomfort and a few hundred dead children and elderly would have been a cakewalk compared to the human population world wide dropping by 20%.
Could have them marked as "epilogues", so the story ended where it did, but they're clearly associated events that happened after.

That would be a 'to soon' moment.
I say just make it a separate story. Just make sure to update Black Plague with the usual there is a sequel chapter.
it really depends on how the story was written. if its from Lero's perspective about how it was to take care of Luna, then add it to the original story. If its all Luna's perspective and the not focused on Lero, the make it its own separate story.
Blank Plague was all about Lero, so only add it to that if the new chapter follows that pattern.
Also, I would love to know where the plague came from. Is it an natural equestrian disease, an attempt at bio warfare gone wrong, or were the Fae trying to screw around with Equestria for vengeance/laughs?
Either way, please put it up soon!
