As anyone who reads my ongoing clopfic "The Game of Estrus" is surely aware, I've not been the best when it comes to frequent updates. However, I come bearing good news! Now there is an alternative story available to tide you over in the lieu of GoE chapters.
The new fic, Game of Discord: Competition and Conquest, is not written by me, and isn't directly related to GoE, but the base concepts of both stories are pretty similar.
You see, the author, DocMadfox, messaged me prior to this story being posted, saying that they personally enjoyed GoE, however they had some ponies which they were disappointed to not see take part in Discord's little game. As a result, they sought out my permission to write a new story based around the concept of "Discord impregnation game".
My response was a resounding "Fuck yes!"
I agree with them completely, the concept as wide as a game containing a lot of ponies is limited by the number you can reasonably include in a single story. Each pony also only gets one fate within a single story, while the amount of potential fates they could fall to is limitless.
So while I'm here, I figured I might as well be clear. I approve the hell out of people taking my idea and making something of their own out of it. Go for it. Seriously. Whether you do a re-run of the original contest or invent some rules of your own, whether you stay in-canon of GoE or completely retcon it, if you wanna do it, do it.
If you think my idea is worth putting your own effort into, then who am I to stop you? Throw some credit my way, and I'll throw some promotion your way. Though, possibly not a separate blog post for each story if a lot of people decide to do this, I don't want to flood people's feeds after all.

I haven't read it yet, but I was sent a snippet of the prologue in the PM DocMadfox sent me earlier, and what I saw there made me very hopeful.
EDIT: I have now read it, and it is even better than I was expecting. In all seriousness, go read it now.
Also, before I wrap up I guess I should do some housekeeping. The next Game of Estrus chapter is about 70% done and should be out soon. However, my motivation for clop has been dwindling a little, so I also have begun writing a new SFW fic to keep me in the writing mood, so keep an eye out for that.
Okay, that's about everything. I have no idea how to end blog posts.
