I Still Exist! · 8:04am Jul 28th, 2013
For those of you who actually hit that little Follow button down there, let me be the first to say, unfortunately, I have not died and am still capable of writing mediocre fics at night when bored. I will be completely honest with you, I have been lazy...all of yesterday. But every day since then I've been busy captured by an alien race that threatened the stability of intergalactic peace. My duties were unrecognized to the public mostly because I woke up right after that. Totally different than being lazy.
All crappy jokes aside, yes, I am guilty of not writing. Actually no. Guilty of not publishing. I have 3 finished chapters from the two stories (total, not each) ready to go. They only need a hit from that publish button. I took quite a long time doing things not involved in writing. If I have no feel to the writing itself, it ends up becoming very crappy. *cough* *cough* Kingdom Hearts crossover *cough*. Also, I want to be at least two ready chapters ahead before publishing. Gives me time to collect my thoughts.
Furthermore, My PonyEarthVerse story (which I believe holds the record for the most amount of dislikes for a PEV story on publishing day) is going slowly mainly because PEV has been moving slowly as a whole. I started my character's adventure late, so I should be savoring my character's time. I burned through roughly a day in 2 (short) chapters. I am looking to slow down the pace. There is also no rush with getting my chapters out, so you might see some updates later. There's plenty more PEV to chew from. Just find the other stories.
As for Equestria: Infinite, I need to lay out a game plan. It's at the mid-point and I can already tell I rushed all my ideas ASAP. That's not what I wanted to do. So, that won't be updated anytime soon (in terms of writing progress, not time wise). I have written a fair amount of content since. It is at a standstill as of now, but I can get a lot of content typed in in a relatively short amount of time.
TL;DR: I only stopped entirely from a reader's perspective. Really, I'm laying back IRL and trying to get ahead of my works in quality and quantity before releasing them. Thanks for sticking by (or forgetting to remove me) all this time and giving me a reason to press on with my content. Hopefully I'll be able to publish some good writings before the end of August.
