Maybe I'm idealistic, but it frustrates me how kneejerk reactions destroy friendships, destroy relationships, destroy groups.
For those who know what I'm talking about, no, the group wasn't destroyed so much as temporarily inconvenienced, but the root of the problem is the same.
Anger is irrational, yes. I don't think it's an excuse. Maybe I'm naïve, but I hold to the ideals of the show we're all here because we like. Don't assume. Don't explode. Talk. Getting angry over stupid things is a waste of effort and a waste of energy. Maybe you're in charge. Maybe you aren't. It's irrelevant.
Friendship is grounded by respect. Groups are held together by respect.
Respect each other. And if you feel someone doesn't deserve that respect, tell them. Don't explode. Don't take your ball and go home.
Believe you me, I'm not above this. I'm not perfect. I know that; and break out your hypocrite whistles if you wish. I'm just trying my best to make what's left of the world a better place.
I found out what happened not too long ago. It sucks, but we'll bounce back.
I may not know of this time but I do agree with all these statements
