So I'm writing a contribution for the Futaquestria group's writeoff, and since this is actually being written for a pseudo-contest thing rather than just for my own amusement, I figure I should make at least some effort to get it proofread.
So yeah, if anybody has time to give the story a once-over to make sure it isn't completely horrible, PM me and I can send you the link to the gdoc (comments are enabled). However, I should probably give you guys a couple of notes:
1. This story is considerably different from most of my other writing. It's mostly dramatic rather than comedic, and there's basically no explicit content. There is a futa in it, but nothing explicitly sexual happens. So if you're familiar with the rest of my portfolio you should be aware that it isn't going to be that type of story.
2. Proceeding from that, I should probably point out that the quality isn't going to be spectacular. It's the first actually dramatic story I've written, so it's probably going to come across as a bit hokey and boring. Switching gears from stuff like "Proofreading Clopfics Sucks" is a bit of a chore, and it'll probably take me a story or two to get out of comedy mode. I realize that it's no excuse for crap, but I thought it would be necessary to point out that I'm hardly going for legit art here. It's mostly an exercise in writing something different.

So if anybody wants to give it a shot, PM (or comment on this post and say so, I guess) and I'll send you a link what I have. It's fairly short; around 2000 words. Hopefully it isn't too bad.
I'd be glad to help, but as another entrant, you should take my advice with a grain of salt...
I also volunteer my talents. I may not be an English major, but I do read enough professional writing that obvious errors of spelling, punctuation, and grammar stick out like sore thumbs to me.
