Attention! OC Stand-off! · 4:57am Jul 12th, 2013

Alright, everybody. Here's what's gonna happen. In the upcoming chapters of BGO, I have two openings for OC's.

However, more than two OC's have been sent to me by a few of my readers. I'm having a hard time deciding who to pick to enter the story. But to resolve this problem, I'm going to be holding a small competition.

Here's the competition. This is the last chance for anyone to enter their OC's into the story. If you want your OC in the story, send your character in NOW!

First, PM me your OC. This includes a description of them, their personality, their fighting style, their likes and dislikes, their personal quirks, catchphrases, ANYTHING! (Well, not everything of course. We need to keep this story rated teen.)

Second, Once you've sent in your character, just wait! Don't pester me about who I'll be choosing or else your character will be removed from the competition roster immediately.

Third, once your character is in to me, I'll put it into a roster for consideration. After August 2nd, the deadline to have your OC's in to me, I'll compare every OC I have. Now, I'll only choose the two characters that will work the best with what I have in mind as a general story line for BGO.

Also, side note for those of you who already sent your OC's into me, this is a chance to add in anything that you missed when you first sent your character. Plus, it would help me if you send in your OC again, because then I don't have to go scrambling around to find every OC I've ever been sent.

Okay, I'm prepping my character, you DON'T HAVE TO read the below message. Read at your own digression.

Name: Rookie Blue

Age: 17

gender: Female

Species: Earth Pony

Looks: Rookie blue has a light-ish blue coat with a short cyan mane with a pink stripe. Her tail is short as well, sporting the same colour scheme as her mane, The hair between her hooves an her legs is cut short, revealing a silver-blue hoof underneath. Rookie wears a brown jacket with several pockets filled with miscellaneous objects. If it weren't for her voice, she could easily be mistaken for a guy.

Passive ability: Apathy; Rookie has the ability to observe the emotions of others, often sensing another players distress and offering emotional support. This ability also increases player moral, stamina and agility by 5% when in the same fighting group.

Personality: Relaxed, always joking (even if it's a bad joke) and is lazy when it comes to work. However when her friends are in danger, she will gladly eliminate the threat. Rookie is commanding in a fight, taking control and yelling orders, she's usually warning others when an enemy gets too close (If she's not busy yelling obscenities or helping a player who is low on health. She often gives other players health potions before healing herself.)

Likes: Small cute things, Stand up comedy, humour, funny stuff, being lazy, sleeping, helping others and eating.

Dislikes: Getting up in the morning, sarcasm (if it's not humorous), the summer, bugs, haters, mean people.

Bio: Rookie Blue grew up in the UK in a small urban town surrounded by a rural area. After finishing school with the standard 5 GCSE's and a BTEC, Rookie looked around for any jobs that would suit her needs. After 1 year of searching, she discovered that the Army had more to offer than a regular civilian life. Joining the military guided Rookie Blue in a new direction, many difficult tasks were completed in almost record time as she worked almost non stop to surpass any other recruit.
Rookie Blue often played the role of a shrink among her fellow recruits, often lending them her emotional support and lending her assistance whenever she could. This sometimes led to her receiving punishment from the staff, as she would sometimes do their chores and ended up having more work that she could physically handle. Through phase one training, the other recruits gave her the nickname "Rookie" referring to her as the one who would help others and sometimes make simple and silly mistakes. Although they would never admit it, her fellow recruits had all been grateful for her emotional support that she gave in times of great stress.
She unfortunately suffered from severe home sickness halfway through the second phase of training, occasionally breaking into tears as she worked. A few of her previous recruits that followed her chosen profession would often return their favours by supporting her in her time of need.
She unfortunately had to stay with the Army as her house and parents were engulfed in a massive explosion involving a petroleum lorry and a pair of joyriders. Fortunately, her younger brother was at a friends house when the accident happened.
Before the funeral, the army offered her a place which she gladly accepted as she was unable to care for her younger brother. Herself and her younger brother were taken in by the grandparents soon after, the Grandparents received regular payments from Rookie Blue in order to look after him, and she visited the family whenever she could.
Currently she works as a REME (Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers) Armourer for the British Army and she recently became an artificer. She arrived home to be greeted with an immense surprise party, where she was given the Brony Game Online.
Her little brother had found out that she had secretly been watching the show called My Little Pony and he had heard of this games upcoming release.
In the game, she Supports other players and fights monsters in the hopes that one day, the game will be completed and she can finally go home to see her younger brother.

Weapon: Dual Arm Blades (it's basically daggers crossed with batons, please refer to the picture below)

Fighting style: Given the weapon she uses, Rookie Blue likes to get up and personal with her opponent, preferring to get inside another players personal space and punching as hard as possible inside their line of defence. However, she will abandon her fight with an opponent if she spots another player who isn't faring well with an enemy.
