New chapter

Chapter 26 is up. More "housekeeping", and a bit of a departure from Verdigris - time to see what's going on with Ivan and Celestia's attempts to help him. Needless to say, no good deeds will go unpunished. Like Applejack said, "Life ain't all sunshine and daisies."

Not really.
The transition chapter(s) between leaving and returning to Canterlot are a little harder than I thought to get right, but I'm going to get it right, not out fast. You get sloppy.
A note about My Little Arkastin. It's a parallel story, and will tell the real story about what happens in the future of Beauty Is Where You Find It. There'll be only hints about the incident.
Later, the story of Verdigris' return to Equestria (it's a freakin' tragedy, remember?) will come out, but not for a while. Still got a lot to keep me busy...
