I very much enjoy the way both Octavia and Vinyl are portrayed in this story. The beginning got my attention, and the story has refused to let go. A lot of times, when I put a fic on my to read list after reading the first chapter, it'll sit unread for weeks, months- well, you get the picture. I read the first chapter this morning, went to go do something, then I absolutely HAD to finish.
That rarely happens.
In fact, most of the characters used were very engaging. Octavia's parents, Vinyl's.... Grandpa? I didn't quite catch that one. The quartet member that did get lines made me LOLz.
On teh grammarz - The writing is pretty much flawless. I spotted no errors- though if there were any, I was probably too engrossed to notice them.
In conclusion, this is a gem among fanfictions, and this should be on the featured box from now until eternity.
And thus I rate this story a five out of five stars.
