Code Lyoko: Equestria and the Equestria Girls Universe · 12:44am Jul 1st, 2013
As you may have noticed, I've mentioned that the events of Code Lyoko: Equestria from chapter 3 (Nine Years Later) onward take place after the events of Equestria Girls, which means that the Alternate Universe where Canterlot is a High School with Humans instead of Ponies and not a castle exists and so does the magic mirror that serves to bridge these two worlds in the Multiverse. But I've also made it explicit that Earth exists in the same universe as Equestria Prime, and lies 186 light-years away from it (for you Astronomy nerds, I've meant for that to mean Alpha Equueli although it could mean any other star that's also 186 light-years away from Earth). So, how does that all work? Well, here's my headcanon on the deal:
In the Alternate Universe, Equestria and Earth have switched positions. While Equestria orbits Sol, Earth orbits Alpha Equueli, and while the two worlds are technologically equal to each other (referenced by how Twilight mentions computers in CL:E), they are aesthetically different: while Alternate!Equestria has the more Earth-like aesthetic to it, Alternate!Earth is more like modern-day Equestria. This, of course, also means that the populations of Alternate!Earth and Alternate!Equestria are flipped: while the Alternate!Equestrians refer to themselves as "Equestrians" they look like Humans and while the Alternate!Humans refer to themselves as "Humans" they look more like Ponies. This also means that terminologies have been switched: while the Alternate!Equestrians use "everybody" and the like, the terms "nopony", "everypony", etc. are used by the Alternate!Humans.
But this brings up another question: What about Lyoko? Does it still exist in the Equestria Girls Universe? Yes, it does, and in that universe its creator was a Pony named Weary Swift, who went by the pseudonym Frail Hand (Hand being his wife, Agile's, maiden name) while serving in the Washington Royal Guard and whose daughter, Amiable Swift-Hand, was captured by the AU's equivalent of XANA and kept in Lyoko. This also means that Weary Swift came to Alternate!Equestria while working on Lyoko and built a Lyoko supercalculator in an abandoned factory near Canterlot High to return to the original Lyoko supercalculator back on Alternate!Earth, which was in an abandoned warehouse. The Alternate!Original Lyoko Warriors are named Jumpstart Barrier, Unnoticed Stoic, Yearly Introvert, Odd Dreaming Rebel, Warded Deviant, and (as of 2013) Learning Grower (the counterparts to Waldo Schaeffer/Franz Hopper, Antea Hopper, Aelita Schaeffer-Hopper, Jeremy Belpois, Ulrich Stern, Yumi Ishyama, Odd Della Robia, William Dunbar, and Laura Gauthier (the newest member of the Lyoko Warriors as of Evolution), respectively); while the Alternate!Mane Cast, along with Alternate!Twilight's dog, Spot, Miriam Aroma Caresser (Princess Cadance's AU Counterpart), and Alternate!Twilight's brother, Stanley Arming (Shining Armor's counterpart who is head of Canterlot University's ROTC), serve as Alternate!Equestria's Lyoko Warriors.
So, I hope that answers any questions you may have concerning that matter. I'll update this blog with other stuff which will sort of explain everything periodically, and hopefully answer any questions you may have. Kay bye!
(NOTE: when I started making CL:E I had to throw out a lot of canon, like Equestria being Earth and not an alien world and all of that stuff with the constellations and the like (though I believe these were mostly made as one-off jokes). I still highly respect canon, but I just want to make sure you know.)
Jeez.
And I thought Coming up with rashonals for the multi-verse spells and Waldo Schaeffer's Crazy multi-verse transvesing, time warping past and my explanation to how the AiB (Agents in Black, subgroups MiB and PiB( Ponies in black)) can use virtual items in the real worlds, and INFECT EQUESTRIA WITH A VIRUS. NOT THE COMPUTER SYSTEMS, BUT EQUESTRIA ITSELF and can steal memories with the Scyphozoa's tenticals under their jackets and why they cam live without a mouth and why they devirtulize, even in the real world.
Looking at it now, that does sound quite obsessed of me.
