Quick Update! (For those of you that care to know) · 8:07am Jun 24th, 2013

After the last update for MLP:FIE-Humans need not apply, Real Life decided to step in and shake things up a bit.

While it didn't stop me from getting to my laptop and writing about the ever-so-pleasant Mal Coltran (or other MLP related fiction), mostly I've been concentrating on selling my lovely home and making plans to move out to the West Coast.

So, now you know. And knowing is half the battle!

Now, to answer a couple of PM inquiries that I've received recently:

- Nope, don't have writer's block. Nor is MLP:FIE on Hiatus. Or has it been left for dead.

Mal will return sooner then you think. And he'll be to handing out grief and sucker punches to everyone and everypony.

- No, I've not been discouraged by Estee's Tales Of The Canterlot Deportation Agency. It's not like I own the entire corner market on HiE removal related fiction. Jeez!

But I do encourage others to continue creating said on subject. I yearn more for gritty HiE tales. Something that doesn't depict us as a bunch of cuddly monkeys but also don't makes us out to be a completely sadistic, cartoon bastards.

Maybe somethin' more along the middle ground of us being just troublesome macgyvers with boat-rockin' morals. To which, I think, Estee did a great job portraying this with his humorous (and somewhat serious) approach on human interaction with a MLP population that isn't ready to roll out the welcome mat.

Anyhoo, I hope that there'll be more Canterlot Deportation Agency tales to be read in the near future. Maybe someone will end up doing one better then either of us. Who knows? In either case, I'm static and I can't wait for this HiE sub-genre to flourish.

Whelp! That's it for now. Real life is calling me back and it needs me get ready for a house closing. And to kill a 1600-pound, man-eatin' grizzly bear.
