Prioritizing and a New System · 1:29pm Jun 22nd, 2013
Hello, everypony! I have a little piece of news for you guys. Lately, I have been trying to balance between writing all of my stories, with equal attention. I thought at the time that it would be best; I could update all my stories around the same time, to give you guys some filler while I work on new updates. Instead of getting stuff done, however, I just fell behind. Way behind. So, with two rewrites that I have to do, and three stories that I'm juggling with, I've decided that, instead of stressing myself out and biting off more than I can chew, I'm going to put all my stories On Haitus, with the exception of Plague in the Land of Equestria. That way, I can actually update something. That story has been incomplete for like three months, and I'm only at about 16,000 words. I've decided to focus all of my energy into that one story, and I will have higher quality and possibly more frequent updates. Also, in order for me to make up for how short all the recent chapters have been, I will try to make Chapter 11 as long as possible. In addition, I will try to make all my future chapters longer.
New Writing System: Type one hundred words every hour. Eventually, the word count builds up, and it's really lengthy. Another huge benefit is, with just typing 100 words an hour, you feel less stressed out and overwhelmed, and way less inclined to rush the story/chapter. Higher quality, decent update times, and relief for the author. I'm really liking this system, and I encourage you all to try it.
