An old, old failed Fanfic (fans of my earlier works who began to lose interest in me will like this)

Do you guys remember A Western Adventure? Well, prior to starting that story (about the time A New Day was written, if I'm correct, back in late 2012), I had started a Wild West story called 'The Story of Quick' (this story is where I got the name for Quick in 'I'm Coming for You'). This was back when I wrote my stories on Google Docs, so you know it must be ancient. Anyways, I had the story on FimFiction, but I ended up giving up on it before I published it (that was also when I believed you had to have the whole story on the site before publishing it, so I was going to wait until I finished it), and it was never made public. A Western Adventure was supposed to be my retry of writing it, but two things happened there: 1, the plots were way different, and 2, I also dropped that story before finishing it. My third attempt at a Western was I'm Coming for You, which while having it's own plot (really the story of CoJ: Gunslinger, changed up a little), I actually did finish it and am happy to say that it turned out rather well. However, I'm not writing this blog to review my history with writing western MLP stories, but rather to do two things. The first thing is purely for my own nostalgia, and that is I reread this unfinished story and realized that my writing style has changed a lot. This might even be the reason I don't have fun writing pony fan fiction any more. I no longer hold that child-like wonder of the show or imagination. Everything I write these days is either a crossover or me thinking of some random action scenario and finding a way to turn it into a one-shot (99% of the time I never post those). It's never about writing a story to me any more. That's why I never update anything; I lost the charm the show had over me, and lost my open imagination.

The second reason I'm writing this blog is to post what I have of the story. While I cancelled it without even posting it, I did put some effort into it, and even though it's kinda dumb, I'd hate for that effort to be wasted. So, without further adieu, here is The Story of Quick:

You might see some parts where I got some elements for I'm Coming for You, and maybe even A Western Adventure. Also, I think I should include this, my 1st blog post on this site, titled 'Looking Forward to It?', where I announce Plague in the Land of Equestria, originally said "im writing a western fanfic". I didn't even use proper grammar or anything . Anyways, that was announcing The Story of Quick, but was changed as I stopped writing it and the idea of Plague was taking shape in my mind.
