Well, I'm in the pacific time zone, so I'd imagine you're in the same, since we're on the same coast. It's 3am for me, over here.

But I've done that. go to bed at 4, 5, 6, 7am. Problem is, I ALWAYS wake up between 11am and noon, so the later I stay up, the less sleep I get in general. Only sucks in that I need sleep for weight loss.

I put some research and some thought into it. I have the tools for physical repairs, so that won't be an issue. I gotta look up vendor support with companies, and how that works, along with if places like Newegg have discounts I can take advantage of.

I might start with a 'out of car' business, where I drive to people and make housecalls. Work on the cheap end, and only charge when it makes sense to, and not screw people out of money (common sense and all that). If I can be successful, I can grow that business, and invest in a physical location people can visit. I don't want to do that off the bat, because there's too much risk, especially if I don't succeed.

Well, thank you. Making housecalls and such is much preferred, I'd say. I think there's no better way to build a working relationship with a customer than working with them directly, especially in a setting like their own home. And besides that, there are other fixes that can only be done at a home.
