So my parent's are out of town, mostly for medical reasons (Dad has bladder cancer and needs treatments), so I'm taking care of their cats.
They have three, a big orange one called OC, a big black and white one named Excel (They call him Sylvester) and Meeka, a small, skinny black/white orange cat that looks like a large, drowned rat. All three they just adopted.
Meeka was Mom's cat, no question. Is there an empty box in the house? She'll jump into it. She cuddled up to Mom over anyone else and at dinner she was fed whatever was on the plate; beef, chicken, turkey ect. Despite how much she ate she never seemed to gain much weight.
So I got back home from lunch, went to their place to check on the cats.
And I find Meeka laying half under the couch. And rather, well, dead.
It's very disturbing to stumble over a dead cat, let alone one you know. It's also kind of saddening.
Don't worry, I am dealing with it... well enough. But it is still saddening.
May she rest in peace man...

Dad thinks she had a heart attack, maybe. We don't really know.

1146371 Dad's fine. From what I've been told if you have to wind up with a cancer bladder cancer is the one to get because it's mostly contained, so it's much more treatable than most.
1144614 We kinda live out in the sticks. Nearest vet is better part of an hours drive away, plus expenses.
We did give her a little burial though.

(Sister is 20 and a HUGE cat lover. She likes to call them her "babies")
