Things have been a bit hectic around work and IRL lately, but all of that seems to finally be winding down. So I managed to sit down and finish the last couple of scenes missing from this story.
If I could tag chapters individually, I'd tag this one [Adventure]. I don't know if I'd tag it [Sad] as well, since it's not what permeates the entire chapter, but there's a little of it there.
No, no, I meant my friend's application (which is not so much for the master's itself, but for the scholarship). You know, it's one of those papers where you have to explain how your life will be improved by getting your degree, and how you'll make the world a better place with all the knowledge you'll acquire.
It's also ripe for tooting your own horn at every single accomplishment in your lifeāno matter how small. The amount of boasting was dripping out of my monitor, and that's what caused the eye-rolls.
The book itself is pretty awesome, though I'm still just starting it
