so for starters, I'd just like to say thanks for popping in and taking a peek. I know how difficult it is to get ones self off the ground on a new website, so I appreciate your interest.
Now then, my first fic posted here, Sweetie Pup, is coming along. Five chapters posted, and I hope to finish it within a month.
Several folks have pointed out to me that, at an average of 1700 words per chapter, my chapters are small. I understand that a lot of you are used to reading chapters that greatly exceed 5000 words (this number is based upon things that I've seen and read on this website). I can honestly say that I will never intentionally write a chapter that long. For me, it is obscene for a chapter, which in my experience is a book's version of a scene, to be anything longer than 3000 words (or anything shorter than 1500). I'm not saying this to be mean or anything, this is just the way I write. Always have, always will.
Another thing I would like to say, is that since I'm posting this story on the internet for free, I am intentionally not putting my best work into it. I apologize for this, but I promised myself a while ago that I wouldn't post anything on the internet that displays the full extent of my skills.
Now, as for where Sweetie Pup is going... Well, let's just say events tend to repeat themselves.
