So, I've taken some time to look over my stuff, and it's become blatant to me that I have a thing for crossovers. I love them. Of the four stories I have up, only one is an original tale, and it's about Angel. All my other works are crossovers, and so far, I plan to make several more. At the moment, I've only got two more original planned stories (aside from the Angel and Devil sequel), and one of them is clop so that I can practice all fields of writing (putting that aside as long as I can). But I've yet to see anything wrong with writing a bunch of crossovers. Crossovers are awesome. It integrates the ideas of two groups into a third party's own image. So what if I didn't come up with .hack//GU? So what if Okami was around before this generation of ponies? So what if barely anyone actually remembers Kinetica?
Anyways, I dunno why I actually felt the need to type all that up. I guess I was wondering a bit at my own natural creativity. I mean, I'm often called a bit of a weirdo, creating characters and doodling and writing all kinds of fun stories. But pony stories... though I love them to death, I often start to draw blanks. I've had some inspirations that I may try to bring to fruition, but still... it's just weird I guess. Violence in general always makes me feel weird when it involves ponies. They're nice creatures, more or less. Primarily nonviolent. So yeah, as a writer who prides himself on gore and grimdark themes, such things with adorable pastel-colored ponies seems like a taboo. Then I see marvelous pieces like Cheerilee's Garden and Cupcakes (yes, I went there) filled with such scenes of pain, and I think to myself, "Why do no thoughts like this come to me?"
But, I am but a simple one. A nonexistence, making a mark in this world where nothing is ever so simple. Oh well, time to get back to what I was doing.
