Storiesatrandom Editorial: Has Cartoon Network lost it's lovable wackiness? · 8:59pm May 20th, 2013
Hello, I'm storiesatrandom, i remembered it, so you don't have to.
There's a very popularly watched channel in our airways that is once the most beloved of all channels. It was cartoon network.
for some time now, Cartoon Network had a ambeiance of awesome shows. Mainly in the late 90s and (most of the) early 2000s. i remember enjoying all those shows they showed, and in first glance. it would look like it was desten for greatness for ever. even when the newer shows came, both that and those shows were ok. for the moment, t'was paradise. however, sometime in 2005 or maybe 06...... This happened.
and it only went to shit litterally the following days, months, weeks, even years.
the worse part, it's NOT just the live action garbage they're showing, even the cartoons are...... well, below their usual standerds.
i am not directly saying the new cartoons are bad (save a few exceptions, like the Cartoon Mad), but... i am just a more stronger fan on what cartoon network used to be before everything changed.
also, the older shows were just, more stronger, they have more feeling to them and the newer shows?
see what i mean? It once had lovable wackiness, and now..... it simply began to fell short to just, abstract insanity, and not the good insanity it had going there.
so, has Cartoon Network lost it's lovable wackiness?
well, let's find out.
After you give the Wiki a look-at
let's face teh facts, it does look like the Network is facing difficult changes, and well, it appears that an army of questionable choices may had ruined it's fame.
Alot of people on the internet HIGHT and low wished te old shows would come back, even though you can still catch them in the retirement home for cartoons known as boomerang.
But is Cartoon Network ruined?
In some ways.
It did REALLY lost it way when the reality shows came after that "Out of Jimmy's head" crap, and even more show with shows not entirely worthy to hold a candle to the greats, but it's not, dead. It's not dead, just, REALLY seriously marred. I actselly find those new shows, ok at times. Looney Tunes show can be ok at times. If you can ignor the insanity, the bad character designs, and that it may look like it was inspired from crack, Adventure Time does look like a jolly ol time. Regular Show is ok if you can mind it's abstract stupidity and that it keeps taking itself almost surrealy seriously. Jonny Test is not too bad, but nothing incredable. All Ben 10 series are ok. They have their own ungite flaws, but they can still be fun. I am somewhat questionaing the choice of the whole, "DC nation" block stuff, espeically with the un-serious shorts, but hey, they need something to meet with the whole "Disney XD has Spider-man and the Avengers". While there are shows i am mostly indifferent at, rarely watch, or just down right don't care for or even, hate, i don't say Cartoon Network's dead. It just, lost it's way.
but to give it credit, it has defelupt a sense of morallity, like the impourence of exsirsize,
and alcourse, that Anti-bully thing they have going on.
so, it seems more like the way Cartoon Network works is just becoming, more modern, as suppose to becoming less wacky. i mean yes, it does work against it, but that doesn't mean it's dead. It's just, lost it's connection with us. but for what it's worth, as long as those shows do have an agrueable colelction of fanbases, were still gonna have CN for some time now before it's legeally dead. I'm storiesatrandom, i'd remember it so you don't have to.
