The character of Pinkie Pie in the is great, and the voice actor actually has a great voice!

Yay I luckily got out of going. So now I'm going to properly reply.
Here's my gripe about Equestria Girls:
1) They are racist. They have Winged Humans (Pegasi), and Regular Humans (Earth Ponies), but they have no unicorns. For a series that talks about love and tolerance. Taking away an entire species is totally contradictory to those morals.
2) They are effectively stripping Twilight Sparkle of her identity in every possible way. They show cutie marks in the trailer. But Twilight's Cutie Mark and special talent revolved around magic. By taking away not only the entire Unicorn race, or it's equivalent (Wizards, horned humans, etc.), but also all magic. Then slamming her into an alien body that she has no idea about it's anatomy. They are literally stripping her of everything that makes her, her.
3) They were shown to eat meat in the original trailer. Think about that for a second. In Ponified Equestria Cows, Pigs, Donkeys, Mules, ect. are sentient creatures. With their own imaginations, dreams for the future, voice, emotions, etc. So what happens when Twilight gets over the horror of eating meat and goes back with the taste for meat? She'd be a murderer. Or what if she doesn't get used to it. She'd be in the presence of mass murderers who kill sentient beings and eat their flesh.
She may never recover from that trauma. When she gets back she'd need to go to therapy forever. She may never get over the nightmares. And this is a childrens show. Talking about racism, stripping of identities, and killing others for their flesh.
4) They made it because of the amount of people who put stories as themselves as ponies. But they made the mistake of making Ponies humans rather than humans into Ponies. They say that it's going to be like FIM, but I fail to see how. If the Elements of Harmony are magic. And magic doesn't exist. Than not only how can their be the EoH, but how do the Winged humans fly, and more importantly how is Twilight going to be able to go back to Ponified Equestria?
They seriously dropped the ball on this in every possible way. And I didn't even bring up the probably incest between Human Shining Armor and Human Twilight. Even if Twilight didn't exist until she crossed over, she still is related genetically to Shining Armor in the other universe. He does sound like Shinny. *Shudders*. Well I didn't bring it up till now.
I heard they'll be a season 4. Faust hasn't had a say in FIM since season 1, and she's been quoted to say that she stands by Hasbro won't say weather she agrees or disagrees with them. So their might be more than 4 episodes since I heard from some where that Sombra wasn't going to be the last Big Bad killed on screen. And FIM makes to much money. Their is no way it'll end anytime soon.

I didn't think about any of your other points until now, but they are true,and when Twilight does go back she will be scarred. I don't think I wanna see this at all. It's about some crown thing which has been stolen from the crystal empire, isn't it?
Then there is the whole season 4 mentioning it throughout the season... Seriously, It is gonna suck coz we are all gonna have to see it. Why not make a regular FIM film and not the stupid EG thing, jheez hasbro, you've messed up...

Which brings up two other interesting points.
1) If there is no magic in that world. How did they get there?
and
2) Why worry about a stupid crown? I mean seriously. You go through the whole complications of going into another world. Could have stolen any number of magical items (More importantly the crystal heart wich would've been more important than a crown). Or even exploited the portal for profit (which seriously if a portal existed to FIM verse the owner would be rich.).
But they went after a crown. A trinket. And it's supposed to be important to both worlds. The more I think about it, the less I want to see it. I mean I'm probably going to just to see how bad it goes. But I have the feeling that after I see the movie. Even if it is non-cannon by the producers admission. I'm going to be having much pity on Twilight.

Well if they decide to make it cannon. That is only more fuel for the fire. Oh that also means that somepony can make a fic about her mental scaring from that show. As well as her psychiatric treatments. Oh! Or a fic where Celestia and Luna go over and rain down unholy vengeance upon the human race.
