Yeah I officially have a new favorite episode. Sorry Lesson Zero you had a good run. Everything was amazing in this episode. I was genuinely worried that they'd make Fluttershy the saving grace of the hurricane and while she helps she's not the deus ex machina.
1. The hurricane was a group effort which was great, it showed everypony working as a team not just as individuals.
2. Fluttershy's feelings about failing the group. Oh my god, this... this is the episode that I can relate to. Cause when I'm in a group I always freak out like this about failing the team. Ok I don't have a breakdown and get helped by animals friends who then get me through an epic 80's montage (I do want that last part though, but who doesn't?) but still holy crap. I think I might have to replace Luna as my favorite pony now.
3. Dash's treatment of Fluttershy. Dash isn't a jerk to her, she wants her to do her duty but also understands she's really scared and nervous. It's a complex issue and it's handled beautifully.
And with that let me just say that I for one welcome our new pegasus overlords.
