I've just seen the trailer and I've got to say. It might not be as terrible as we all thought. I'm still not sold on the designs but I can look past that at this point. What sold this for me was both the solid animation and the complete acknowledgment to the fandom. They didn't only put in generic static characters in the trailer but went out of their way to make the famous background characters like Vinyl Scratch into it. Even if they won't do anything for the story I admire them for that because it serves nothing. They did that solely for us.remember how everyone reacted to the announcement of the twlicorn. It turn out to be pretty good after all. i'll give this a chance.
Also let two points be known: Twilicorn and the last season finale showed us that just because its different doesn't mean it's a bad thing, it could be but you have to approach it with an open mind.
Second: it would be pretty hypocritical, with all the fiction of it floating around, that you should instantly think its bad because of it being them going into a human world. You can argue there designs if you want but basing an entire opinion on a movie you haven't even given a chance on simple design is stupid.
Remember we watch a show about pastel colored magical horses, when most others wouldn't because it looks stupid. And we never regretted it. Don't go ignorant like so many brony haters that base there opinions solely on appearance.
