"Twilight?" Applejack eased her head through the doorway. Dulled clanks came from further inside, and much of the equipment crowding the room glowed with a dull purple sheen.

"Working!" called Twilight from the other side of the largest element.

    "Twilight, mail call!" insisted Applejack.

    Canonical Example

I have just tonight declared the season two time-travel episode "It's About Time" to be the canonical example of stable time loops involving sentient beings. Just wanted to share that.

Gah! This was supposed to go up last week, not this week! Completely my fault, I'm sorry!

Flights I & II

Night of the Shaggy Dog is... ah, well... it's supposed to be a shaggy dog story masquerading as a horror story; but I'm not sure it pulls off any of that, much less all of it. I was slightly amused and horrified to look up 'shaggy dog story' and discover that other people had written shaggy dog stories... deliberately... and done well. I was under the impression it wasn't considered a goal in and of itself.

I might have another piece of writing on the to-do list, too. Inspired by Neighsayer & Feather's Flight I, the description I'm working from goes "Celestia still has guilt". Trouble is, the only story I know of to have come out of a song in that sense is PoweredByTea's Never So Far Away, and I really don't seem to have the option of using that process on this piece. I'll probably have a throw at it anyways.
