Well, as much as some support me, when I looked back upon my old fics, the comments kind of tore me apart, made me self-concious. Now, this is normal, right? Proofreaders are there to tell you what's wrong. I guess I'm too sensitive. I'm working on a new fic, very slowly in order to get it near-perfect. Let's hope it's good...

Man I am sorry to hear that the comments got to you. Just know that whatever you write you will have support by few, and there will always be opposition. Nothing is absolutely perfect. Plus lets be honest, there are just straight up assholes who comment for the sake of being mean, and then there's me. I give honest opinions, even if the others don't agree. Not all reviews and comments will be honest for the sake of helping you. Try to sort out the ones that are at least constructive whether i be negative or positive. Don't give up on writing, it's something you enjoy. Just remember you do have friends on here. /)

1044282 Look man, not everyone has a great beginning. In fact my first story was about a court of O.C alicorns, yeah imagine how that went down. I took it down and just tried again. The next time with proofreaders and some help to pick myself back up. Not everything is going to be perfect in your writing, non one is that good. As a reader I've learned that, and as a review person even if the fic is good you have to point out the bad. Don't take all comments to heart man, if you feel it necessary to write, then write. Stop being self conscious and worried about others, you don't know what they will think or say until you put it out there for them to see.

1044342 bah, just a bunch of babble. It sucks that each one of those I've written was done in less than an hour (excluding the proofreading). They aren't my serious works at all. Now I love them, and I think they are hilarious because of the way people feel after reading them, but they were more for you guys, not necessarily myself. Sorry for the self promotion here, but have you taken a look at my most recent thing I'm working on? Here is the link to it if you wanna take a look. I really need some feedback on it so far. By no means is it finished and it is in the roughest of rough drafts. I thought the idea was a pretty cool idea though. I might even accept a few ideas.
