Writing

Well, I'm fed up with not writing. Every time I try, of course, I'm scared off by the idea that I'm not good enough, but the only way to get better is by practice, but I'm not practicing because I'm scared off...

My motto is supposedly "fail better". Therefore, my new goal is to 'publish' something every week until S4 starts. I refuse to put stuff on FiMfiction without at least one prereader/editor pass, so that's going to (appear to) slow me up a bit, but by Luna you are going to start seeing more stuff from me or I'm going to know the reason why.

(Meanwhile, I'm going to go slam through a weekends' worth of notifications; and I just got a real scare when my unemployment pointed at losing internet access. I'll cope somehow. Pinkie Pie swear.)

What word count are you looking at / what are you looking to write? One-shots? Chapter-fic?

Yes.

I intend to count individual chapters towards my 'publish something'. Slightly cheating, perhaps, but with the relative lengths of my planned supposed chapter stuff, it's necessary to keep my sanity. Not everything I intend to count is Pone, either, but I'll gDoc+blog that and deal with the fallout later.
