I once fell unconscious from a combination of fever and a hot bath.
I fell face-first on the ceramic bathroom floor. I was out for at least a few seconds.
It was the best sleep I've ever had.
That .. sounds pretty painful, you know?
Other than that, this might place as one of the more unexpected/random things I'll have read by the end of today, hm.
Oh well, I hope you didn't hurt yourself in the process and stuff, sleep is good for you they say, I wonder ..
I'm yet to fall unconscious but a warm bath does bring me pretty close sometimes. I tend to avoid them when I have fevers actually because I know something like this would happen to me too.

Eh, it wasn't that bad; I was actually sitting on the edge of the tub when I fell, so it wasn't from very high.
Plus, my lips cushionned the landing of my skull. I only had a very minor cut.
But, yeah. Fainting: so very relaxing. My very first thought when I woke up was something along the lines of "Aww, but I don't want to wake up! I never slept so well..." And then I wondered what I was doing on the floor.
You have to love that awkward moment.
It happened to me twice last year.
I shall criticize thy writing!
Should have started in tub, body feeling numb and sore. Light smoke emanated from the still steamy water. You coughed, then grasped your chest from the sharp pain. Short breaths. Can't breathe. Struggle to stand.
You trip sideways. Your head slammed into the floor. Blood splattered along the bath's ceramic flooring.
"It was the best sleep I've ever had."
