As well as writing stories I've recently taken to reading them, and did a reading for my good friend, and writing idol, Psp7master of his story Seven Nights. So far only the first chapter is committed to video but the rest are recorded and will be on their way.
I was expecting him to post about it but he hasn't yet so I thought I would. A small amount of attention drawn to it is better than none.
The story of how it all came about is long and in the description of the video so I won't bore you all with it, or kill my fingers typing it all out, again, but that's why Celestia invented copy and paste.
What happened is that me and Psp7Master were talking about accents and we decided to do a little "you show me yours, I'll show you mine" thing. I said I would read one of his fics but I couldn't do character voices. My voice is pretty monotonous and so I can't change it much.
I saw he had some poetry so I offered to read that. I've read poetry before with good results. Then I see that it's a poem of three parts, Celestia, Luna, and a narrator. At first I decided to use Audacity to change the pitch of my voice for Luna's parts. Then I as I was editing my way through the fourth chapter, I realise I'm going to have to put it to video and that video is going to be pictures of the Princesses.
At this point I began crying as I think I can just use the pictures to show who is speaking. I then proceeded to undo ALL my edits, and finally begin work on the video, which itself took about an hour or so.

Listening now, can't quite place your accent. It sounds familiar, but I'm not sure of it exactly...

I'm from the Midlands but I lived down south when I was younger so I think my accent is a little mixed. My friend says it's northern though, so it's anypony's guess

Yeah I was detecting hints of both south and north, but obviously i don't know all regional accents, so didn't want to make a stupid guess!
