Looking through the stories, we can see some repeating trends.
1) All the humans speak English.
2) All of them are from the Western World.
3) Almost all of them are from the modern world, give or take ten years.
4) The vast majority are bronies, which is odd, given that bronies probably amount to less than one one-hundredth of current global population.
5) All of them are young.
6) None of them are convicted criminals.
7) Given that religion never comes up, I assume all bronies are athiests?
8) With vanishingly rare exceptions, they are all male.
Where the hell are all the other stories? I'm still waiting for a catholic to try and explain transubstantiation to Twilight, and having her call them on the fact that it makes even less sense than Pinkie Pie. (Am I really going to be the first to do that?) Don't like that idea, or worried others might not? Good! That's called character conflict!
If you want to write Humans In Equestria, there are some great possibilities. The human species is vast and varied, with differentiations both subtle and gross. Just appreciate that many of the easy possibilities have been completely tapped out; with wangsty teenage bronies being particularly barren territory. You might want to try some of the less well travelled paths, take some risks, and post something origonal.
