I fought Temptation.... · 8:08am Apr 13th, 2013
And Temptation won. They say she's a cruel mistress, luring those unwary enough into her thrall. This is, without a doubt, ultimately, completely, one-hundred percent TRUE.
I'm not promising anything yet, so don't hold your breath, but I've decided to write a story for FiMFiction. My first fic for this site, in fact.
I was considering taking up writing again at some point, even before I started frequenting FiMFiction, but only recently has the urge to do so become greater than I can manage. I have decided to write an MLP Crossover for my first fic (which is probably a horrible idea, but you'll see why I chose this in a moment). The Mane Six are about to face one of their toughest challenges yet: A battle for the lives of their entire universe with the infamous Seed Form bioweapons. That's right, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic will finally cross paths with those of the heroes from the Phantasy Star series!
I was browsing around the lists a few days ago and found exactly 0 (zero) crossovers having to do with Phantasy Star, in any shape or form (that I could see. I may have missed a few, so correct me if I'm wrong). So I decided to make one of my own, using characters and events that take place in Phantasy Star Portable 2. Still in the planning process (I haven't even had the time or wherewithal to shit out a rough draft yet), but I think I'm just about ready to start working on a rough draft, one that will be at least semi-presentable in the face of great writers like Merc the Jerk, JJGingerhooves and Peregrine Caged. For those that don't know (shame on you), they created the Heistverse Continuity, The Laughing Shadow, and many other amazing works of fiction (go check them out!), but I digress. This post is just to let the few of you who followed me know that I have something on the front burner (set to simmer, if you don't mind) and is in the works at the moment. Again, like I said before, no promises, but I will try.
Thanks for taking the time to read this half-assed report of the failure of a person who tried to resist Fate.
Remember, keep your stick on the ice.
