    Well, I'm Not Dead. Yet.

But I think you might kill me for waiting this long to get Ghosts of the Past up. Oh well. I blame moving.

On the other side of the news, I did get this done... 7 monthes past when I said I'd have it up. However, I feel it was worth it, for I've done as good a job writing this as I can!

Oh, and the reason I could get this up? Insomnia. Yeah. Sucks, but hey, gave me an excuse to finish it.

And the End Falls Into Place

Returning Survivor is done. Not on hiatus, not discontinued, done. Which means it's time for me to start focusing on Past the Gates (prequel) and Demon Hunting Day (sequel), after I get Ghosts of the Past up of course. I'd like to thank all of you who've stuck with me so far, and welcome those who are new to the story, for your encouragement and reviews have been well received and enjoyed. I

    Virus Deleted!

Yeah, so my comp caught this pretty nasty virus that shut down the whole system- forcing me to delete my partition and re-install most of everything. Thankfully, I was able to recover some crucial bits and pieces, so it shouldn't be too big a mess to replace everything... just annoying. On the bright side, the plans for the next (and final) chapter were recovered, so I should be able to get

    Statistics From Season 1-2

Right- when I mentioned that I'd pulled some statistics from seasons 1 & 2 for my latest chapter, a few of you were interested in knowing the exact details. So, I give you my results! For the record, I used a list from the MLP wiki and only counted those that had both a GENDER and RACE. This means that Chancellor Puddinghead, who was given a race, but no gender, wasn't counted while Princess

I will give you a heads up though. Where Returning Survivor was humorous with bits of action and seriousness here and there, Past the Gates will be almost entirely serious (They're in Hell, how do you get more serious?) with action, sadness, and drama, while Demon Hunting Days will be more light-hearted, but still less so then Returning Survivor. Basically, I see it like this:

Past the Gates: The serious backstory, what helps define Mecha with the tragedy of what happened to his platoon.
Returning Survivor: His return to a "normal" life, where mishaps occur as he builds himself a home with friends, often in a humorous manner.
Demon Hunting Days: The hunt to keep his home safe, while dealing with the issues of the world. Most likely to include satire and hidden political views (aka, me being as subtle as I can with my own views by making plot points based around various institutions).

Basically, I see each story as three different kinds, each suited to a different audience. Therefore, I would not fell offended in any shape or form if you decided that you only wish to read Returning Survivor, and not the prequel or sequel. As I said, they will be less comedic, and most of you prefer that if your comments are any clue. I do ask that you give them a chance.

And finally, a question. Since most of you seem to like comedy, how many of you would be interested in reading about the exploits of the poker night group when they were drunk?
