Drama is best subject 0_0 · 4:08pm Apr 5th, 2013
Now I see why some people don't do drama. The acting part is easy ^_^ ; It's the write ups that you have to hate...
How many times do I write "this symbolizes/represents/connotes"? It just feels terrible with 25% of words being symbolism related :(
e.g.
The use of red lighting during the scene could by representative of the pace of the action; relating to fast or rapid movement, typicaly associated with fight scenes or progressive action. However, it could also symbolize the emotions felt by the characters in the scene, referring to a angry or hostile feeling which conveys a sense of tension to the audience. Alternatively it could be placing emphasis on the passion or feelings the characters have for each other; red often connoting love or affection. etc etc
OR THE DIRECTOR JUST F-ING LIKE RED LIGHTS!!!! >:(
It's almost like English essays, except you need actual technical language. ^_^
But make no mistake, drama does open the mind. Every now an then you get those philosophical subjects or deep personal connetions which you can relate to. OOH you can just feel the angst >_<
