PREPARE FOR LONG BLOG/RANT (because I can)
After what seemed like 2 weeks of horror and nightmare... mocks are now behind me.
While still getting results back, It's clear that I have some ground to gain in order to get the A/A* needed for GCSEs. With summer exams less than 4 months away, revision and final topics will be piling on my work load. I'm still going to keep writing and (hopefully) keep the chapters posted without omitting the spell and grammar checks.
While browsing though the many amazing deviant artworks online (thanks to FIM fiction main page) I have felt so inspired by some of the artwork; you get those silly cute pictures (such as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBHTJ2bK_cI), some teasing (*wink wink nudge nudge*) ... but then you get those really sad or emotional ones that make you really think more about the characters and the backgrounds behind them. You realize just how far the fan-base has taken MLP and really developed the universe through the fanwork . AND just to think this was made to be a TV show just to teach the magic of friendship.
Also, after the mocks, we had a great after exam sleepover/birthday party shindig. In between the party foods, messing about and endless rounds of "Marry, Fuck, Kill" (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=marry-fuck-kill) my good friend and I somehow managed to get all 11 of us to watch MLP:FIM ; First, the latest episode, S3Ep10 then, the season 2 finale (because who can't resist watching that again?). Needless to say, besides some 2 or 3 naysayers everybody else was loving it and even started comparing each other to ponies. *facepalm*. One of the guys is even now obsessed with Rainbow Dash (but who wouldn't be? /)^3^(\ )

Curse the education system! We have mocks, then we need to pick A-levels and if you don't pick correctly, they tell us we will not get into the universities we like and then we will fail in life and then we will die lonely.
But seriously, at this point in life, it's really the time to make important decisions and yet half the year group still don't know what to do with their lives. It's one of those times when you really either think "society puts a lot of pressure on youths these days" OR "How the Hell don't you know what you want to do!?!? You're gonna waste your lives >:[".
Ah well... such is the mysteries of society. And thus ponies were created to solve all of humanities woes. ^_^
Let's be honest. No one can resist the season 2 finale. It had to be the best MLP of all time.

Sadly, I feel I fit into the category of people who feels that season 3 wasn't as inspiring for me; Not that it wasn't as good, but I just didn't feel the magic.
If anybody was to ask me if i wanted to re-watch episodes, season 3 would not be at the top of the list. It just wasn't as "engaging" as the first 2 seasons. 
The season finale better live up to the previous one. And hopefully season 4 will get the balance between appeasing fans and having their original luster to it.

I can agree. The season three episodes are actually quite good, but maybe we're comparing the entirety of Season 3 to the last two episodes of season 2. If you take a look at Season 3's Discord episode it really was just as good as "green isn't your color" or "Sisterhooves Social".
