Songfics · 1:53am Apr 3rd, 2013
So, songfics. I've suddenly grown to love them. I want to write them, I want to read them, I want to sleep, eat and breathe them, although those last three may be a little hard to do.
So anyway, I've read some fics recently that have been based around songs, namely, Coldplay songs (I'm a huge fan of the band, and love virtually everything surrounding them). I even found a group on this site for fans of the band, which instantly scoured for easily a half hour.
But yeah, the fics. Life in Technicolor is my favorite by far. It's shipping between Twilight and Rainbow Dash, something I don't normally go for (I don't like lesbian Twilight for some reason), but I liked it.
As for writing, I've started two songfics technically. Viva la Vida: Equestria isn't so much a songfic, but more of an albumfic, based around a whole album, again, by Coldplay. The other I've started, Wedding Bells, is a sad story, which is weird for the name. Oh yeah, that one's also Coldplay.
Conclusion: songfics are good, and I have a serious love for Coldplay.
Also I'm stealing the idea of having weekly poems from my friend. He's probably reading this. He knows who he is.
Poem:
Life is good and rarely bad,
It's really your point of view
That makes you sad.
You see no sleep,
I see more time in the day.
I see a chance to eat,
When you see hunger's dismay.
So life is for living,
Don't let it bring you down.
Everything's not lost,
It just has yet to be found.
---------
Oh yeah, "life is for living" and "everything's not lost" are Coldplay lyrics.
BEST,POEM.EVER.Did you write this?
