Yep, I've gone off the deep end...or have I? · 3:54am Oct 11th, 2013
So...I'm totally losing my mind.
My newest writing project is entitled Bad Writing Idea: Questions Only, is really just the worst idea ever. Basically, I'm adapting it from the popular television show Whose Line is it Anyway?. The idea came from a skit called "questions," where the actors can only ask questions in a given situation, and are buzzed out if they take to long to ask a question or say a statement.
So, why write this? The answer is simple: I want a real comedy. I've recently written the first chapter of a story called My Last Resort, and it should be a mildly comical story, but not nearly enough to classify as a comedy. So, I wanted something that would make people (hopefully) fall out of their chairs when they read it. Yes, the idea is totally insane and last resort, but it will be fun to write (again, hopefully) and maybe even more fun to read.
As hinted in the title of this blog entry, I'm not going entirely crazy though. I actually have a ton more ideas for a lot more stories. One of these is an idea my friend and I created a long time ago entitled The Royal Equestrian Shakespeare Company. Basically, it's a bunch of ponies acting out Shakespeare plays. The story definitely has potential in my opinion, but they will be a huge amount of work.
I also have an idea called Now My Feet Won't Touch the Ground, a heart-warming story about Scootaloo learning to fly, which was based of the song Now My Feet Won't Touch the Ground by Coldplay. I'm even tossing ideas around for a new Vinyl Scratch-Octavia ship, but I'm not too wild about doing that.
But anyway, thanks for reading my blog. I'm now in the mood to continue writing my stories! Thanks, and happy reading :)
