Disclaimer: I actually like Sunny Skies All Day Long. It’s a nice, pleasant, happy kind of read, and if it’s cliche, it’s cliche in the same way as Shakespeare's plays are—the tropes it contains have been reused over and over again.
Anyway, guess what was just at the top of the the top list? The Wrong Fork. That means I’m two for two. Now I realise the up vote/down vote ratio should be taken with a grain of salt. I realise that the top end of of the top is more about being not disliked than anything else (as explained by Nice Horsey). And I realise that now I’m up there, I’m not likely to stay there long, the top list being extremely volatile.
Nevertheless...
Just this once...
I’d like to stop trying so hard to be humble and simply say...

The Wrong Fork definitely deserves a place high in the top fics list. I hope this draws more attention to the story!
Hm. I think, to commemorate this occasion, I'm going to carve out a secondary recc space for The Wrong Fork. I'll take Petriculture off the list. I doubt my recommendation will lead anyone new to it. I'll put The Wrong Fork where Petriculture was.
