Golden Promises

So I noticed that I have become a 'fimfiction gold member' out of the blue. Naturally, I wanted to know what that was.

Oh... really? And I thought that I was randomly special. Nope.
Ehhhh...
So what are your thoughts on this whole 'gold member' business? I personally hope that it is April Fools joke. A division of fimfiction members based on, most likely, money (or any other thing) seems like a bad idea. I foresee it bringing on a horde of bad feelings.
