IT'S HAPPENING!
What's happening? Well, I'm on page 10 of the second editing process of Rise of the Legend chapter 001. Out of 13 pages total. I've gotten through all the majorly edited parts. Seriously, there was a whole page that was almost entirely tossed out the window, and I actually reduced the font, so I'm pretty sure that, under normal circumstances, it was a full page. Not to mention large passages that were tossed...
Well, now that I'm past all that (there are still a number of passages that were tossed, but not nearly as much now), I'm determined to finish this today. That's right: The first chapter of Rise of the Legend will be finished today. The second editing process should have been done earlier, to be honest, but I got a little distracted during my writing time and stuck on a particular way of combining two passages. Originally, a semicolon wouldn't have worked and nothing else really felt right. Then I added two words: "they were."
Cleared up the issue with no problem. So when you find that semi-colon with a "they were" after it, you'll know that it took me a half a day to get to that combination.
I ARE SUCH GUD WRITER!
Anyway, I have some things to do before I get to writing, but I'll be on it within the hour after I post this and it will be done today (I'd like to have a few people read it for the final editing process before I post it, though, so it may take a bit longer for that). Starting tomorrow, I'll be working on the next installment.
Which is not chapter 002.
Edit: Just so you're aware, I did edit this post a little more than a half hour ago. I had thought that I would post it immediately after the second editing process, then decided to give some people I know a chance to tear apart the chapter before I posted it.
