Season Premiere's effects on Rise of the Legend (no spoilers, so don't worry) · 6:51pm Nov 23rd, 2013
So as you may know, season 4 premiered today. As you also may know, Rise of the Legend is based in the past. Long, long ago in the past.
I just want to say that some Equestrian historical fanfiction writers have apparently been having trouble adapting their stories to it, but I see only minor changes needing to be made for Rise of the Legend, and nothing that's yet been posted. Some elements can actually be fleshed out a bit more with what's been revealed in the story (and now have more canonical backing), and some were things that I had already predicted.
So I dunno. Luck, laziness, skill, or psychic ability. Whatever it is that's caused Rise of the Legend to be close enough to it, it is, so for now, it follows the S4 canon. We'll see how that goes in the future. Depending on how fast I write, I may need to be concerned about my prediction about... a certain element at the end of the episode being true.
Oh, and Rise of the Legend is going along well. I'll be introducing a few characters in the next installmen, and it took me ages to decide on names and naming themes. Yes, there's a theme to the names. Anyways, those took ages, but now I've got the primary players of the next installment named, I think, so it comes down to minor characters (assuming there are any that we haven't seen already or whose names I haven't already decided) and just writing it. I've had it pretty much planned for quite some time, so I'm glad to finally be getting it done.
