I'm a couple days late in bringing you my status, and it's because I wanted to share with you some good news.
The news is that the first round of editing for the first chapter of Rise of the Legend is finally done.
The second round shouldn't take too long and after that, well...
I know that I was planning on taking a break from Rise of the Legend to work on a chapter or two of other fics, but given how long it's been, I don't think it's unreasonable to work on the next part. It won't take very long. I don't think that the next installment will be more than a couple pages, but it will provide some important information about the story as well as help provide a baseline for how I'll be updating in the future.
Assuming insomnia doesn't strike again.
Anyway, I don't expect the second round of editing to take nearly as long as the first round for a lot of reasons, the chief among them being these:
1. I won't be doing as much editing in the second round as the first
2. There's very little to no risk of me falling asleep during the editing process
So expect the first chapter soon.
